Winemakers Notes
CB, the cumulonimbus cloud is known for both its towering power and graceful appearance. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc from the Upper Galilee mirrors those characteristics. Rich and full flavored, with elegance and complex middlemouth feel and a long finish. The wine was aged for 22 months in oak barrels and offers hints of coffee, dark plum and violet flavors and aromas.
The Pelter Winery was founded in 2001 by Tal and Nir Pelter and has become deservedly famous. In 2012, the Pelters gave us a gift, the Matar Kosher winery. They didn't want to change their original winery, so they started a second one. The winery is located in the Golan, and the grapes are sourced from four vineyards in different parts of the country. This offers varied flavors from the grape varieties.
