Shoham pays tribute to the onyx stone, which symbolizes the Tribe of Joseph on the breastplate of the Kohen Gadol (high Priest). Shoham Red is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Merlot, aged with French oak.
Ben Porat is an estate winery located in the heights of the Samarian Hills, nestled in the ancient land of the Tribe of Joseph. Its symbol, the onyx, represents the beauty and strength of Joseph, as written in Deuteronomy 33: “His horns are like those of an onyx.”
